Sounds like the timing is just right for such a claim. Buyer ends up not being able to profit so......... So sad there are people who do this sort of stuff.

When mailing high-value cards via USPS within the US, I use Return Receipts. This way the delivery proof ends up in my hands as opposed to "archived" by the USPS. It's a few extra dollars, but it's proof of delivery.

I've had no luck with return receipt or a buyer signature. I've had the return receipt in hand, with the signature from the buyer when they signed for it and accepted delivery, and STILL lost the credit card case. I was completely dumbfounded. eBay buyer protection "saved" me as it was shown delivered on eBay, but eBay had to pay the credit card company and the buyer got the money back from the credit card through eBay.

I just got this pop up when I was trying to find a Youtube video that was sent to me by a family member:

The things that big tech companies do these days to track your interests.

Anyway, It's good to see that I am not the only person that has had a bad experience with this sort of buyer.
