I have a general question for those who sale their cards online....what kind of payment types do you use and like?

Do you use a place like eBay as a selling site or do you have your own website (one that is not a card shop or distributor site)? 

For example, I have a Wordpress site that I'm considering looking into selling some cards...which payment method do you use for your site and how do you price your cards?

Do you price based on a Beckett figure or more along what the cards have been selling for? 

Do you sell individual cards or create bundles? 

I haven't decided if I'm going to do this yet, just in the research stages.

It depends on the volume of sales you would like to do/how many cards you have to move.

Ebay is fine if you are going to do a few sales but if you have millions of cards then avoid ebay as their fees are exorbitant.

Also this "limit" thing they have is the most annoying issue i finally said enough of your garbage to.

Every month i would call them begging to increase the limit of how many items i can list like seriously?

Someone wants to dictate to me how many items i can offer for sale so we got tired of that and went off to build our website.

For payments many use paypal, my platform(shopify) accepts credit cards and many people should by now feel comfortable with e-transfers(little to no fees).

This is a great start! I appreciate the response and all the valuable experience you probably have. I've been a collector (off and on) my whole life but have never ventured out into this area. 

I may have a few more questions along the way if you don't mind me asking. I always try to do the research and have a plan but when I'm stumped, asking questions is the best way to make sure I don't make a mistake somewhere along the way.

I sell cards on this site. I let the buyer make an offer for the cards they want. It's usually a fair offer and I accept it. I only sell cards to help collectors get the cards they need/want, not to make money. The money I do make goes towards shipping costs for the trades I make. I only use Paypal for payments, but I would accept checks and money orders too. Paypal is just much faster and that's what everyone has used that bought from me so far.
