Yes to reinstatement. I have been here long enough to have seen how things were and think the banishment has been more than long enough. Simply put, if it gets to the point where people cant stand a persons post why not give us the capability to block or mute a person?

My thoughts about Bob's posts are adequately expressed by others. The fact that so many feel that way is probably what led to the ban.
Still, I vote YES.

Everyone deserves a second chance. A year long suspension is long enough.

Although I never locked horns with him, I respect that he has a passion for card collecting. If he is willing to abide by the rules, I vote for reinstatement. He has knowledge to share on this site and we should be open enough to share with him.

I need to bring out some facts that are not present in the forum posts so far.
Bob (BOBSCARDZ) was suspended from the forums on December 9, 2020. Less than a year ago.
Bob was already given MANY "second chances". He was warned by forum moderators and by Admin.
Bob verbally attacked another member of our site in the forums. He was NOT reported by any "senior members". The member being attacked may have alerted Admin to the transgression, but the decision to ban Bob was 100% Admin's.
Now, given ALL the REAL facts, do you still support a person who was given a dozen second-chances, who continually violated the rules (of bot hthe forums and of adding items to the site), and who verbally attacked another member of the site?
I don't.

I agree with Ed. I have worked with Bob on occasion with the IRs and we have even tried to see if we could have worked a trade. But this is Admin's site. The events that have happened that Admin felt strongly about was ultimately Admin's decision to remove him. Because of that, I continue to agree with Admin. I am voting no.

I under stand why some do not want him back. He did go over the line more then once (IMO) It also appears that a few members pushed his buttons and he let them have it. Not the best way to reply on both sides. He did some posts that no one replied to and they went away fast and no problems.
I do miss some of the things he brings up but other things should not have been said. That said I'm on the fence. If he comes back and things get out of control. That is bad. If he comes back and helps out and calms down it would be good. If he is not allowed to post Are we missing some good that he help out on.
It is all up to the Admin.
