Wow. Prayers for everyone involved. I hadn't heard that yet but that is pretty major. I can't understand why some people do the things they do.

I was at the game. Scary, but never any danger to those attending. Many panicky people though. And a lot of shots that sounded like they were coming from just behind third base. They were outside.

Glad to hear you're okay and weren't in danger. Scary. And my son will be down there soon (we got the email for a special CUA day for the game on 9/3 - not sure yet if he'll have golf or be able to go).

I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox. |

Glad that it didn't affect the people in the stadium but I am sure it was hard getting out because of traffic and panic

Glad you and the others inside the stadium was safe Vvvergeer. It had to be somewhat chaotic trying to get out with the panic going on. Dan, I hope you and your son are safe if you go on the trip down there in August. Bill, I hope you next-door neighbor is safe at the game tonight as well.
