In another post I posted about my folk's farm in Nebraska in the 70's without power for over 30 days. There was a lot of price gouging on genrators. I worked for the weather serice for 17 years and they though they know it all. More the once it come back to bite them. Texas is a big state and has a lot of coast line for the storms to hit.
