Woohoo! We got a whopping 14 TCDb members in the TCDb Fantasy Baseball Prize League. And so far, it looks like each team manager will be contributing three cards or sealed products (each $10 minimum value) and all six playoff teams will win prizes from the prize pool.

Even though the league is full, I am creating a league waiting list for anyone who wants to reserve a spot for next year's league. If you are on the waiting list, you might even be asked to take over a team this year if one of our current team managers is unable to actively manage his team for the entire season. Just PM me a note saying you'd like to be on the waiting list.

We now have our prize card criteria and distribution plans pretty much finalized. Now we're in the process of submitting cards to the prize pool (subject to league approval). Because the Yahoo league message boards don't allow for images to be posted there, here are the fronts and backs of the cards I submit for league approval:

I had to remove one of our managers from the league today for backing out of his commitment to contribute cards to the prize pool (fwiw, it was a TCDb member who has a less-than-stellar reputation on the forums and was banned from the TCDb forums a few months ago). So we are in need of a manager to take over a team that was autodrafted. MLB play starts Thursday April 1. The new replacement manager will not be obligated to contribute cards to the league prize pool. First person who PMs me their email address will get the invitation to join the league.

The team auto-drafted, but has a solid core with SS Trea Turner, 2B Ozzie Albies, 3B Rafael Devers, as well as SP Darvish and Glasnow. Lots of time left to make it a contender, and if you are inclined to participate in the prizes, all 6 playoff teams will be taking something home!

Yep, as Hamilton mentioned the team looks good. There's enough talent on the wire for the team to be in the running for the playoffs easily enough.
