I officially began my project to visit and photo document every town, village and hamlet in Duchess County NY. The first ride encomassed going to Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, Kerleys Corners, Upper Red Hook and Wurtemburg, and visiting Barrytown and Annandale-on-Hudson for the first time in my life.
I took more than 300 photos which you can see here: Drive #1, January 23rd, 2021 album | El Camino Billy | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Cardboard History My COMC New Collection Website: Cardboard History Gallery (Still under construction) Tips on how to make your scans look like the card does in hand (No more washed out, fuzzy scans!):

Seems like I'm lazy as heck during the daytime! I spent my afternoon playing solitaire on my laptop before I headed out for work at 4:30 EST. But I was up until 6am working on adding to my wantlist (over 13K since Thursday night) to help get some trades into the final stages. Then I got home Saturday night to find 5 NEW trade proposals while I'm still dealing with 4 already. I knew the floodgates would open soon, but just not WHEN. I've been dealing with a single massive trade for several nights now (currently at 1400 total cards). I'm always busy at night, but I rarely do anything here during the daytime except on Sundays.
As for music, I really only listen to it in my car. But I got a new DVD/VCR for Christmas and the VHS tape that's been in there this week is a self-made Beavis & Butthead tape. Tons of all kinds of music on that tape!

Well yesterday I was working with vrommed to add a set to the database that is a passion of my son. Got distracted when a trade arrived in the mail.
Then it started to get cold in the house, so priorities changed and we now have a repairman in the house right now fixing the furnace after a nice cold night. Fun times.

I just started listening to Apple Music "New Rock" Playlist as I've been wanting to listen to more current releases than my 90s early 2000s alt/hard rock. Going to drop my Sirius XM package soon (cost cutting) so tyring out different music options.
As for stuff, had to work half a day, then put up some blinds, took the new dog for his first hike, then edited some photos. Got a few cards in the mail but haven't added them yet, may do later this week.

is photo 9 a train bridge? Also photo 15 of that old style dinner/signage is something I've thought of doing as a photo project. Hope you had fun, though I would recommend not taking photos while in the car on the street! Unless you had it in video mood and took screen shots later.

I spent Saturday afternoon playing two Strat-o-Matic games. The first was a replay of when Hank Aaron broke Ruth's record, but I replaced original starters Al Downing and Ron Reed with Don Sutton and Phil Niekro. Aaron didn't break the record, going 2 for 4 with two singles, a groundout, and a game ending lineout. Aaron did homer in my second game to help the 1976 Brewers beat the Red Sox 10 to 3.
Now I'll have to spend another afternoon looking through Billy's pictures; I love upstate New York villages!
