Thank you all for your comments, you did not disappoint. If you check out Cubbie Bears other 80's cards they are all just as awkward. Makes me laugh every time.

I live about 15 minutes from the I-Cubs ballpark and I can say downtown Des Moines was a bit seedier back in the 80's. He was probably enjoying some malt beverages down by the river. Love the card I'm going to have to seek it out!
