I never liked redemptions becuase it reminded of the whole product rebate system. They make you jump through a bunch of hoops in hopes that the idea of it will sell more product and they won't actually have to provide anything in return.

This thread reminds me that I have a Panini redemption to claim. I also wish redemptions would go away. If the cards or stickers didn't get back in time, scrap it from the release. They can put it out later in various ways if they ever do get them back.

It allows them to maintain the collating and the pack odds numbers they put on the packs. Helps them avoid a lot of false advertising claims. .
