Why aren't the Toronto Maple Leafs called the Toronto Maple Leaves? You rake leaves in the fall. You don't rake leafs.

They dont have fall in Canada. It's always winter.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

On a serious note. The official name is Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club, "Leaf" is part of a proper name. When you pluralize a proper name the pluraizing rules don't apply. Example, Mickey Mouse. If I have multiples it's Mickey Mouses not Mickey Mice.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
