First of all, a big thanks for all of the well-wishes. Currently in a "holding pattern" after consultation last Friday. Surgery date not as of yet scheduled with most likely date early October now so I will most likely be here off and on until that time.

Went to the Orthopedic Group today. I had a choice, cortisone shot (apparently good for 3 months), or knee replacement. I took the shot...

I hope all goes well with surgery. I am only 50 but have had both hips replaced. Should have gotten off of the Basketball Courts earlier in life. My surgeries went great. I can't believe the things they can do to make you pain free. I have been on a self made diet the last year, back in the gym, play a little Basketball from time to time with the old guys. In the best shape I have been in since age 38.

Sorry to hear about that!! I hope there was no permanent nerve or tendon damage.

Something about the thought of shuffling through cardboard with injured fingers just sent shivers down my spine.
Best of luck to you!

First night back in my own bed. Surgery was just recently performed after waiting about 6 weeks after initial diagnosis. All would appear to be encouraging (/OK) . Really glad to be able to once again sleep in your own bed. 6-8 week recovery expected so each day will hopefully be better Will try and slowly catch up after the nearly two month hiatus. Glad to be back.

Nice to see you back. Sounds like recovery/healing is going in the right direction.
