I thought it was going to go to Pittsburgh. That's not to say I'm disappointed though.

Only the second time the Rangers have had the #1 pick, and the first time was 55 years ago. Eh, don't like seeing the Rangers and Devils get top-2 picks twice recently (and it doesn't help that ours in Nolan Patrick can't even get on the ice due to migraines), but at least it wasn't Pittsburgh, Toronto or Edmonton again!

Always looking for Blackhawk hockey, Notre Dame Football, White Sox and Bears Stuff. I have a plaque in my card room that says, "I could have been a millionaire but my mom threw out my baseball cards". How apropos!!! Collecting Chicago Blackhawks Hockey, Doug Wilson Hockey, Chicago Bears Older, Notre Dame Football in their college jerseys and Chicago White Sox. |

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Alexis Lafreniere is this year's consensus #1 but as of now he's no Crosby or McDavid

As cool as Gritty is (or as maniacal as he is), he doesn't win games for the Flyers (and in turn, for us fans). Maybe these playoffs are finally ours. And yes, I'm actually old enough to remember watching them win the back to back cups.
