I messaged https://www.tcdb.com/Profile.cfm/redlegs_baseball a while back offering a 1952 Bowman Reds card. He has been a member for 10 years and was active till 15 June but has not logged on since. The last feedback posted was by bkim on 5 July so he was trading till close to his last log in. Anyone know anything or live near him and might check up on him? In this present world, one never knows.

I believe Jayson is still active-duty Army. We've had other members "disappear" due to short-notice deployments.

Yes, they have been called up. I went to the government pages sorry can't post them here. But you can go to their FB page. Maybe give him a shout out on the page, he may see it. https://www.facebook.com/TheOhioNationalGuard/
But if anyone does lives near him it still would be a good thing to check.

I made him a trade offer back many weeks ago and its been saying "Countering" for a long time now. I sent him a message but no reply. I assumed because it sat on "countering" not just shut down, that something was going on.

I've currently got 3 trades in the 'countering' mode. I hope it doesn't include them, each over a week old, but I can hold off.

It is summer time, that's when most National Guard units do their 2-weeks-a-year of Annual Training. Short of a long deployment, that is most likely the case here.

It is a crazy time for many of us. I will be patient for his return. If being called up is the reason, a PIF of a vintage Reds card is very much deserved.
