Where do you find what certain cards sold for?  I've been on E-bay for years but this seems to really puzzle me? Thanks for your help. Joe

One of the filtering options after you search for an item is "sold" items.  When selecting that filter it will show only your search results which have actually sold vs those which are currently for sale.

You can also use the site watchcount.com to see what items sold for that were accepted best offers. 

After typing in your item in the search bar, and hitting search, go back to the search bar, and to the right(of the blue search button it says Advanced. Click on that. Then click on sold listings, and hit the blue search button directly above it.

After you do a search, there's two checkboxes far down on the left side margin for "Completed Items" & "Sold Items".  Those will re-run your search, but on recently ended auctions.  The "Completed" list will show those that ended without selling - also an important bit of info.
