I love these types of stats!! With just under 300 trades, I found that I pitch about 70%. I enjoy looking to try to help other members out with their collections. I can look for traders that I can help out and not worry about trying to get value in return.

I'm not sure where do you look? I think I would be a catcher but at the same time I am not sure

You would have to go to your profile page. Under the feedback line there is one for completed transactions. Once there you will see the list of your completed ones (I believe I saw you have 190 or so) . The first column shows who initiated the transaction the second column the receiver of the trade offer. Simply add the # of times your name appears in column one and divide that by your total and that will give you your "pitcher" % and thusly that number from 100 will yield your "catcher" %.

Good tip!
I just tried it out, and discovered that page might not provide perfectly accurate information. For example, if you propose a trade to Member ABC, and then that member sends a counteroffer that you accept, Member ABC gets listed in the first column on that page -- even though you were really the one to originate, or "pitch", the trade.

I thought about thast originally but didn't go into that much detail assuming not a large number of trades get countered. For those that do a lot of countering you would have to be a little more diligent. Good point though. Question was just meant as an approximation to determine which "side of the fence " you're on.

Agreed. I figure only a small percentage of all my trades have involved countering. (Which, as a side point, just shows how fair and generous people on this site are. Usually the trade offer is good from the start, and there's no need to counter.)
All that said, and with the occasional counteroffer, I'm still at 72% pitcher.

Thanks. I pitched 96 and caught 94. That is close enough for a 50/50 for me. Lol

That is so wild! I for sure thought I was a pitcher. Out of 40 completed and 9 trades in progress I only initiated 24. That's only 48.97% pitching. I'm truly shocked.

Pitcher. Right now I've got 6 in the mail, 3 proposals and working on another two. All me.
You can't catch the cards you want if you don't throw the ball.
If you want something you go out and get it.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)

237 Transactions
116 pitches %48.94514767932489
121 catches %51.05485232067511
Pretty close to 50/50.
However, I do have a tendency to counter. I like the negotiating part.
