I recently got back into basketball after not watching. Who do you think will have the better career; Zion Williamson or ja morant? I think they both will be good but morant has really impressed me this season.

I have watched some basketball over the last few seasons mainly because my son has got into it and I have started collecting a little basketball again too. I hear more people on the side of Ja than Zion.
A little unrelated to your question but I actually pulled a Zion yellow hoops parallel and I am thinking of putting it on ebay this weekend. I guess I'm not sold on him as being the next mega star if I am selling? Of course the last sale on ebay was $40 so there is that.

The success of Zion is pretty much all going to be related to his health.
I have pulled a total of 0 Zion Williamson cards this year. However I got plenty of Morant so far.

Yeah card wise I'll have 2 of each with one Zion coming from a trade.

as a Grizzlies fan, and watching at least half the games on tv so far, the most impressive thing about Ja is that he makes winning plays, not just flashy, look at me plays...and he is in top 10 in entire league in 4th quarter scoring
not sure what Zion is since we have not seen him yet

I will say Zion was a monster in the few pre season games he played in. I think the potential is there for him to be a dominant big.

Zion may develop into a superstar, but it will probably be a gradual thing over several years (like Giannis). In college his game was mostly dunks and garbage putbacks so he still needs lots of skills development at the NBA level.
Morant seems to have arrived in the NBA more fully-formed and isn't likely to show a whole lot of improvement in subsequent years. His points and assists should increase marginally along with his minutes - he's playing about 30 minutes per game as a rookie and that should be closer to 36-38 minutes per game in another year or two - but he's already shooting the ball at about 49% from the field, 41% from 3, and 80% from the line so it's pretty hard to go up from there. (He does need to start shooting more 3s - only about 2 attempts per game so far as a rookie.)
I have 5 Zion and 8 Morant cards so far. The best one would be the "Teal Explosion" parallel of Morant's Hoops rookie card.

Ja has been playing well, but if Zion can stay healthy, and maybe a few years of development, I feel like Zion can be one of the most dominant stars of this generation.

Been hooked on collecting since 2011. Sports & Video Game Nerd Pretty good Ori, Kragg and Mollo player in Rivals of Aether. Average Mario and Puff player in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Slippi Code: MK#636 Play OneShot

I think Zion's the real deal. I think Ja is also good...but the physical gifts that Zion recieved are going to put him over the top. If he can stay healthy.
I currently have one Zion and no Ja cards, by the way. I'm slacking...tired of Panini's...Panini-ing. Yes, I just made up a word. Really tired of reviewing every time a player breathes on another. Ready to gouge my ears out rather than listen to NBA broadcasting, especially ESPN's...shut up Jeff Van Gundy.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Related to cards dollar tree for the win. Walmart either doesn't carry basketball or they sell fast. So getting Zion from absolute is nice
