I think we all miss him on here, but not gonna stop us from giving you a little ration anyhow. If I remember correctly you had a photo of yourself outside at -27 while wearing your TCDB shirt and shorts. Is this your chance to break that??????

The frozen penguin needs to come on down here to NC, USA, at least for the winter! It was almost 70F Saturday with clouds and that massive stormline approaching. It is still 65F at 2am! We are usually complaining about the hi-temp being around freezing this time of year. I'm not complaining at all about the temps we've had here in January so far. But I did have to take off my coat while pumping gas into my car this evening. I was wearing a short-sleeved t-shirt under my coat. I only had the coat on b/c of the rain, but I couldn't take the heat any longer. It's supposed to be even warmer today (Sunday). It's completely odd!!! I really hope we don't pay for the warmth of this winter with major heat in the summer. The weather is expected to get back to normal temps around here next week though.

I agree. I'm in SC the weather is great. I'm originally from PA moved south about 4 years ago. Best move ever. I also hope that the summer wont be extremely hot. Also heading to FL later tonight early monday morning for Disney. The weather is supposed to be in the high 70s low 80s. Time to break out the shorts

I went from winter in New England to summer in Australia with one..ahem.."short" flight. Has been high 80s with plenty of humidity here. I've been some work outside as part of my job and, even with sunscreen on, it still got to me. But I think we all want to see Daryll with an ice burn instead of my sun burn....

Brisbane isn't really affected by the fires, though there have been plenty of climate change rallies in the week of been here. When I landed in Sydney you could hardly see the runway from the plane. Some people I work with up here are from Canberra and they had their houses on the line and one was even caught in one of the flare-ups down there. Obviously it's front-page, everyday news and the amount of damage it has caused in unfathomable to Americans. California hasn't seen anything like what is going on down here.

I hope your trip to Disney World will be awesome, but we both know that the summer is going to suck in the Carolina's! Last summer here had the 2nd-highest "Days-Above-90F" in recorded history.
