My Pet Peeve right this moment, is trade partners who take off cards that you want to trade for and use the excuse that they went out in a previous trade and a week later you check and those same cards are still on their FSorT list. If they don't think what you've got to trade is good enough just please say so. That way maybe I could find something that is good enough, and then get the cards I really wanted. I spend a lot of time making sure that the trade is even and fair, and 95% of the time it ends up in their favor, so when traders take off the most expensive cards and put on cheaper ones I get peeved. I feel better now. Thanks for letting me vent.

Comedy gold right there.  Mine is when people walking in the opposite direction down a hall at work that's wide enough for only 2 people and either a.) one person walks right down the middle without moving over or b.) two people walking side by side don't bother to budge to allow the oncoming person (me) walk on.

OR... when you and them step to the same side of the hall at the same time! I hate that. I will naturally step to the right as if we are 2 cars about to go by on a road. Why does the other person almost always step left? And then you both simultaneously step to the other side of the hall...

Similar thing happened to me in the supermarket just last evening when we nearly collided shopping cards then afterwards "sheepishly" grin at each other ! You're driving a cart ... and in North America we drive on the right... right?

My most recent instance happened at work Wednesday night, so it was still a bit fresh in my mind. I stepped right as he stepped left. I noticed the direction he went and instantly switched to left, but he did the same. I just stopped in place. After a smile and nod from each of us, he passed me on the RIGHT side. If he'd went right with the first directional change, we'd have been fine with no stutter steps or awkwardness.

If you really want to embarass the other person when that happens just say "wanna dance?"

But if I say that to another man, there's a good chance that punches might get thrown. Most men do NOT "wanna dance"! If they come towards me aggressively, I'm putting them on the ground and/or I'm going to the ground or hospital too. Either way, I don't want to deal with that much problems and certainly don't want people getting hurt. In the case of a semi-coworker in that situation - no embarrasment needed.

That dancing cliche line just makes a slightly awkward encounter into a pet peeve and a slight annoyance.
