I've traded with him a few times, never anything big though. I decided even before reading this post to stop trading with him because of the attitude he took when I countered a proposal. He was still coming out ahead on the estimated value of the cards. It really sucks, because he's got so many cards I'm looking for, but I have almost nothing for him to trade back. Buying from will never happen after reading this!

Sent him a PIF a few months back, just several cards.    Nary a thank you.   Pegged him as a taker,  a user.

I traded with him in September.  No problems.  

Appreciate the feedback, but this was a purchase, not a trade, and he intentionally damaged thousands of cards and scammed me out of hundreds more that I paid for. He deserves a temporary ban from TCDB for his actions in my opinion until he rectifies. People shouldn't be able to get away with what he did on a platform like this, suffer zero consequences for it and continue to receive the benefits of this community.

I wasn't even talking to you.  The thead's headline references somebody else. After a long series of posts criticizing that person, I finally decided to post something positive about that person.  You are free to do as you please.  But I do believe you lost your case with PayPal.  True?

This is my thread about 49ants scamming me on a purchase, naturally I would assume you're talking to me.

The PayPal case resolution option was to pay more money to ship everything back and reward him for his behavior. This also ran the risk that he would lie to PayPal and say that I didn't send everything back and I would be out everything, which wouldn't be far fetched based on his actions to that point. I decided against that option and kept the damaged cards.

It wasn't until later that I did the inventory on his shipment and found that he deliberately withheld 300 of the best cards from the order and then essentially admitted to it via PM ("you got more than enough").

I appreciate you trying to offer an alternative perspective, but he had 700-800 positive feedback going into my purchase, so naturally there are hundreds of users that have done trades with him without issues. That's why I thought I would be okay doing a large purchase with him. I was wrong.

I think some of you are jumping on uncorrected error when all he was trying to do was chime in that he completed a trade with 49ants with no issues. I too completed a trade with him with no issues. I think based on the title of the thread uncorrected error should have been able to share his experience here.

With that said, I didn't go back and read through this thread again but when I last looked 49ants has never defended himself here so I do appreciate the heads up and would take this thread into consideration if I traded with him.

How do you really feel?

For those interested, Admin did approve a possible addition to the site, last checked was 19th on the list in voting. Not bad for one day!
