Today, in the United States is Veterans Day. To honor military veterans and thank them for their service to our Nation.
Thanks to all fellow veterans across the globe, not just here in the United States.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thank you to all those who have served in the military (any country).
I am on my way to a service at a local VFW hall with my son's BSA troop. We already thanked many in person at church, and will get to do so again at the VFW.

Indeed my thanks to all who have served or are currently serving now. I did not have to do so (post-draft era) and chose not to. But in many ways that has only built my respect and appreciation for those of you who have. May God bless all of you, as well as your families.

It was my honor and pleasure to serve this great nation, twice, once for the Army and the New Jersey National Guard, then in 1999, I became a United States Marine. Yesterday was our birthday, 243 years protecting this country from ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.

Chuck, thank you also for your service and immense generosity here.
Thank you to all veterans. What a day to celebrate! 100 years since the end of the "War to end all Wars". Happy Veterans Day and Happy Armistice Day. I'll wear my red poppy today, that is how I remember this day from when I was a kid. I had uncles who actually went to Canada to join the War before the US was in it back in 1914.
