I think it is full of chewing gum, but I don't want to open the box. Should we add this as a checklist in Food Issues ?

Any cards in it? Or just gum?

I think we can skip cataloguing them.

Amurol made (makes?) Big League Chew, so it is probably gum.

I would find it odd that it would say "Card Collector Box" and only contain gum.

I may be thinking of a different product than this specific one, but I recall getting something very similar (small, cigarette box-sized carton) from my local drug store when I was about 9 or 10 ... which would be 1990. And I remember my supreme disapointment when I got home, busted open the package and found only sheets of pink bubble gum inside. Strangely, it also included a little cardboard stand-up thingie that was essentially a mini easel designed to 'display' your favorite card.
As for nutritonal info being required on the box, I don't believe that was a federal mandate until many years later. Again, could be wrong, but that's my recollection.

That is hilarious. I guess they are selling the box to collect your Red Sox in and that is why it is a Red Sox card collector box.
Sad thing is, I likely would have bought a Cleveland Browns one if they had football ones and I had seen it...

Inside of these boxes was bubble gum. 30 pcs to be exact.
