Hi All,

I would guess a British card, around 1925-1935, but can't find anything on Cymox Cigarettes (Might just be the reseller & not the maker

Any ideas ?

That's funny. Cymox is a plant fungicide; even used on tobacco plants.

Appears to be from or at least related to a 1923 set produced by A. & J. Coudens Ltd. British Beauty Spots, series of 60 [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]. Although, none are blank backs. However, they do state a similar message.

So it's "CYMAX" not "CYMOX". Could it be a reprint someone tried to make look legit and misspelled CYMAX on their rubber stamp?

Beauty Spots

- A  Printed back, numbered

- B  Printed back, unnumbered

- C Back rubber stamped "Cymax Cigarettes"

- D Plain back

That's definitely an "O" not an "A" on that rubber stamp.

Definitely an "A" on the printed ones. Definitely an "O" on the rubber stamp; look at the "A" in Cigarettes.

Same for the printed ones, the A in Cigarettes isn't the same that it is in Cymax.

Would need a few to make sure, but never saw another...

The rubber stamped ones would be an aftermarket alteration and wouldn't get listed.
