Hi All,

You have been so helpful on my last Mystery post that I thought I'll try to make your brains boil over once more.Lol

I still have a few unknown cards, so here is the first one.

Any ideas ?

so this card seems to be of Marguerite Clark.

So if this picture was taken in 1908, the series should be around 1908 - 1910

Without the card in hand I can't verify. But it looks like an ACEO.

The same card and a few others listed on eBay as "T400-8" with no year [1, 2, 3] and another with 1901 year [4]. However, given the prior image being stated as 1908, the date is uncertain. Also, found the same image reversed and stated as "Portrait of Evelyn Nesbit, 1900s" [5].

Assuming the "T400-8" identifier is accurate, this American Card Catalog from 1967 (reprinted 1988) has a listed on Page 17 under "T400 - Actresses and Girls", with #8 only stating "Numbered cards TW72" [6]; "Cards with ATC (any type). TW refers to the Tobacco War Booklet."
