On the front it has a number 8 or a B. On the back I think it says Butterflys of the world. Any Ideas what this is?

Looks to be 1888.

It appears the first series is 10 numbered cards with a white background (but the backs are all the same and the butterflys are not actually identified).  The Second series is 50 cards with a gold background, and 10 of them are the same as the first series (aside from the background) and not numbered, which will make it hard to create a checklist, unless there is some butterfly expert on the site.

I created a checklist for the Series 1 set, which has the 10 white background numbered cards here- 1888 Kinney Bros. Butterflies of the World Series 1 (N217-1) - Trading Card Database (tcdb.com).

I also created a separate set entry for the NNO gold background set here- 1888 Kinney Bros. Butterflies of the World Series 2 (N217-2) - Trading Card Database (tcdb.com)  However, I did not create a checklist since the 50 cards are NNO and am not sure how to identify them.
