I’ve noticed there is no gold card listed anywhere.  One can only assume it might be the same checklist as the silver and bronze cards.. I know there is a Frank Thomas as well as a Ken Griffey Jr card for sale on eBay.   This is different than the Pinnacle brand cards for sale on eBay.  I know there is Mickey Mantle and Nolan Ryan for sale on there.. But those aren’t my concern as I don’t own them..  Thomas is #rd to 500, Piazza is #rd to 375 and Griffey is #rd to 500.  Hope this helps…

Do not make the assumption set forth here - that was not always the case with Highland Mint.

So with that being said, how can we get it listed?

This is from the TCDB site:

“This checklist only lists confirmed cards and may be incomplete. Please use the inaccuracies reporting link for the set to report any missing cards. Please include the card number, name and team in the request”

Since you never really know the full set checklist of certain sets, wouldn’t me providing some details to help get something started?

Let's try to get more than just the one card.

Well Griffey and Thomas is listed on eBay for sale….

Any completed listings? Any listings anywhere else? Any Google searches that come up with other players?

According to Beckett there is only 3 made. Griffey, Thomas and Piazza..

And there we go. Research.

Now we have something to go with. And aren't we now glad we didn't jump to the conclusion that all Silvers or Bronzes were also Golds?

I always thought it was better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.   Haha.   Also according to Beckett some of the print runs are different than what’s listed in TCDB…. I’ll submit those at a later time.   But Beckett also lists 2 different Ripken bronze cards.  Both 92 Topps but with different print runs.  I won’t submit any inconsistencies on that Ripken card unless I can find anything out.  

TCDB might be the exception to that rule. How would you like it if there were several Piazza cards listed here that didn't exist? Think about your fellow collectors of other players who would wind up in that situation. Because Beckett couldn't figure out how to list sets in their database back in the 90s without card numbers, I can't tell you how many Steve Yzerman cards we chased because we were looking for a numbered variant (because we could only find these cards without card numbers on them).

I have a few of the hockey Highland Mint cards, and in doing my research on those years ago found Beckett's print run numbers to be off. Please do not trust Beckett 100%. Unless you find another source that shows that our numbers are off, believe our numbers.
