A collector sent me a question about this card from Safeco Plastics and I was wondering if it was legit. The holder is 3/4 inch thick with a name plate.
The Bowman card is autographed and serial numbered. Has anyone seen this before? Is it some kind of demo? Without the box it is impossible to identify where this came from since the back has no additional information.

Looks like something the plastic company got autographed and packaged.

Yes, I agree. That is what it looks like. Did Nolan Ryan really sign 324 of these though?

Always a good question. And then was it just simply that he signed 324 random cards of his? Or was it 324 of the 1993 Bowman cards? (And then there's your question of is it really his autograph?)
And regardless the answers to any of these questions, TCDB will not list the 3rd party AU cards.

Nice find. It looks like some of those on eBay have certificates of authorization.

That's a Classic card released by Classic- perfectly allowed.
If I released signed versions of a bunch of 1989 Topps cards, we can't list them here. Only if Topps releases them.

I agree with dilemma. I don't think that A-Rod VAR belongs. According to the COA it was signed for Score Board and released through Score Board via Safeco card holders, not released through Classic Games.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Mis-identified where it is located. Yes, probably should be removed.
