Panini handed something related to the Philadelphia 76ers at his HOF induction ceremony and then he handed it back to them and they cut it up and put it on a Nuggets card?

Unless there are red, white and blue Nuggets uniforms but the description of the material still confuses me. I know he wore a dark suit to the ceremony and not a jersey.

My guess is that they handed a jersey to him and cut that up. I guess it was an alternate, or this was a part of the "B." Can't help much more than that.

I see no indication in the wording that they presented him a uniform jersey.

The card basically says "we gave him something, he made contact with it, we took it back for cutting up". It could've been a senior league softball jersey for all we know.

Not even sure that he touched it. He probably did, but the wording sounds like they can just ask him to look at the jersey, not even touch it and voilà!  Anyway, this is Panini and you all know the story...

Reminds me of Mark Ingram's Topps "event-worn" jerseys that resulted in these images I love to trot out every now and then:

I forget how many jerseys he had on in the photos but it was double digits!

The fronts look the same except "HALL OF FAME" instead of their name.
