Card Identification Forum

  I don't imagine this is acceptable for the database, but I wonder if anyone can tell me more about this.  I found it among my stuff. It's numbered, so maybe from a set.  I couldn't find any examples on EBay.  Perhaps sold at the stadium?

I obtained a number of these pins at the old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore in the late 70s and early 80s. They were all Orioles - Jim Palmer, Earl Weaver, Eddie Murray, Doug Decinces, Mike Flanagan, Cal Ripken Jr, Rick Dempsey, Mike Boddicker, and a HOF pin for Frank Robinson and Brook Robinson.  The number refers to the player on the pin - may be a catalog number for reordering more.

Doing a general search there seem to be similar pins being sold on Ebay but all the info I could see is they call them "1970s Stadium Signature series" sometimes there might be a specific year but mostly just the generic 1970s sometimes a later pin from the 80s.
