As I alluded to in the Curt Warner post this may be a Fan Club item and who knows how many other similar type cards exist.

Should they be documented here or? 

I'm not lobbying 1 way or the other just thought i'd show it as it is a nice card slightly larger than the standard size .

Is it 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" on card stock?

A tad bigger 2 5/8 x 3 5/8 card stock not too thick, about the same thickness as a 1994 collectors choice bb card in a quick comparison

Well, since he's not cative anymore, it doesn't really matter the provenance of this card - it can be added.

Looks like something from his personal fan club just now to attach a year.

Would it be safe to say somewhere around 2001-02 according to the accolades on the back?

I would guess most likely 2002-03. The flag ribbon was worn during the 2001-02 season only in remembrance of the September 11th attack, so most likely they wouldn't have appeared on a card made up for the 2001-02 season since it was not something that anyone expected.

I actually don't think the active vs inactive thing would apply to these. I am sure that he looked in the mirror and gave himself permission to use his own likeness. Same with the Warner card from earlier. However ADMIN would have the final say but a message to him asking about this could be warrented. I am sure some modern players active right now have the same thing as the Warner card going on.

Ryan, true, but that seems to be the deciding factor whether we can list "unlicensed" cards or not, and I was simply saying that we can forget that limitation because he is not an active player.

Oh agree, I was just putting it out there for the inevitable finding of a current player doing the same thing today.
