I was just browsing looking over my 2010 Topps checklist when I look and see a Drew Brees card image I'd never seen before. Perplexed, I clicked on the specific Drew Brees card and I got even more confused. The pictures as seen here show the front of the card as a totally different picture and pose of Drew Brees than the one printed on the mass produced card. The funny thing is, the variation pic of the front of the card was posted by the Administration of this site all the way back in 2010, while it also shows the normal back of the card with the correct picture/pose of Drew Brees. So is there a 2010 Topps Drew Brees sp variation? I need some insight on this.

Not sure what you are looking at as far as the VAR. The image shown is the base card (mass produced by your terminology) for Drew Brees in this set. There is no base variation. Looking at COMC, (2010 Topps - [Base] #100 - Drew Brees (comc.com), further confirms that this is the regularly issued card.
However, when looking at the parallels for this set there is an image difference where his arm iscocked further back in the throwing pattern. Maybe you have a parallel mixed in with your base set. Blue version linked here (2010 Topps - Blue #100 Drew Brees | Trading Card Database (tcdb.com))

Look at the photos sir. The front of the card is a different pose. Then look at the picture that has the back of the card. Totally different pose. I'll post the image of the mass produced front pic if I can

A mockup? First time I've ever heard of such a thing haha. Explain what that is to me if you can sir (it might be obvious enough I just want clarification)

Then I'm going to go with Billy, because I'm not seeing any differences at all. The 2 front images look the same to me and the bck image looks like those I'm seeing in here and everywhere else. Guess I need me eyes checked because I, personnly, am not seeing it.

Look at the position of his left hand between the two images. On the database, he is touching the ball with his left hand. On COMC, left hand is not close to the ball.
Edit: https://www.tcdb.com/SellSheets.cfm/sid/10189/2010-Topps
Topps had the image on their Sell Sheet for this set.

Thanks. I now see it. That makes more sense now and matches what the parallels look like. Eye exam time....
