(This is my last one today then got to go get some work done)
I have in my collection 26 different of these and all the research I can find says this was an 18 card skip-numbered set. Now I'm thinking this was A COMPLETE 33 card set but have no proof. In talking about this set with my fellow knowledgable collectors we have concluded that Topps distributed these possibly in cereal boxes or loafs of bread as a premium. Anyone else know???
11/21 UPDATE I was informed there WAS a different 33 card set put out in loafs of bread but now it raises a new question; Since the 18 "Test Issue" cards are identical to those found in loafs of bread in 1973, weren't these bread cards then test issues as well? Otherwise there shouldn't be an 18 card designated set.
