1988 Topps Big, copyright question

This is my Dykstra card, No. 203. Doesn't appear to have a letter by the copyright, although it could've been something on the press that covered the letter. Has anybody else seen this on their Dykstra card?

Definitely debris or something covering that - look at the lines for the boxes near where the letters would be - they are missing. Look at that area with the zoom. Definitely a flaw and not a VAR.

There is also some black missing above and left of the copyright line. When Topps made changes it appears that a few cards had partial letter issues in the copyright line. I did not research those variations and am unsure if they would be added or not.

Yes, nothing but either a printing glitch or a paper loss. The card could have been stuck to another card at that point; can't tell from a scan.
