That's a 1992 card design. Part of an update or post-season set?
-------------------------------
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Could be.....
1993 Action Packed NFLPA Awards (17 cards). Here's the checklist:
https://www.sportscardchecklist.com/set-164234/1993-action-packed-nflpa-awards-football-trading-card-checklist
Edit to add: From Beckett:
"Held on March 4, 1993 in Washington, D.C., and sponsored by Action Packed, the 20th annual NFLPA banquet honored outstanding professional football players from the 1992 season. The set was produced to benefit the District of Columbia's Special Olympics. Reportedly less than 2,000 sets were produced. This 17-card standard-size set features the players selected as the best at their position by their peers and was issued in a special black box. The fronts feature an embossed action player photo overlapping a black-bordered gold stripe. The backs have a player photo and the award recipient's statistics."

What you think its "worth" is pointless to me as this is a collectors site... obviously i collect this player and his cards. But if you have this card id gladly give you a penny for it!

I think he got confused at Chad's signature, thinking it was a comment on card value lol
Fost, the 'two cents is worth' comment is CNagel's standard signature that you will see at the bottom of all of his posts. He definitely wasn't making fun of your choice of card to collect :)

lol....no worries. Barry is a great player to collect and I love Actioned Packed sets.
I put my tag line in bold. Maybe that will help avoid confusion in the futre.
