OK, this has me simultaneously happy and annoyed. For years now I've been trying to complete the Gold parallel set for the 1999 Giant Eagle Cleveland Browns team set. This is a 24 card set sold in collated packs of 4 cards (Pack #1 has cards 1-4, #2 5-8, etc.). Over the years, I've managed to get my hands on a copy of 19 of the 24 gold parallel cards, usually by picking up random packs or even complete sets if the price isn't ridiculous and they have a card I needed.
Today I received a couple packs in the mail that I bought on eBay, and I ran across this card. As you can see, the card is clearly autographed "Derrick Alexander 94". The card is otherwise identical to the base set card with no authentication of the autograph or other identifying features.
Has anyone else run across one of these autographed inserts? Honestly, I didn't know they even existed. I don't know how many different players were included as autographed cards, etc., and if I hadn't opened the pack myself I would have assumed someone had Alexander sign a copy of the regular base card as a personal souvenir. I've opened a LOT of packs of these cards, and this is the first autograph I've seen, so these must be VERY rare.
Really glad I pulled this card, but frustrated that it suggests there might be others out there that no one knows about...Also a bit annoyed that there's absolutely nothing to distinguish this genuine insert autograph version from a base card that was autographed after the fact...

Edit to add...I'll clean up the image and upload it to the DB, but I hate adding a single card insert if it's a parallel or multi-card set.
