I am not sure what set this Robin Ventura Promo card (which has a blank back) belongs to. My best guess is that it is 1989, but that is not certain. There is a no photo listing for a promo card for the 1989 Star Robin Ventura set (see this search https://www.tcdb.com/Person.cfm/pid/6051/Robin-Ventura ), but that set is all blue, so it seems like the promo card would be as well, but I suppose this could be it. It could also be a promo for the base Star set that year. Anybody have any thoughts?

Yeah, I am going ot go ahead and add it there. although it being a different color than the rest of the set bothers me. It is definitely the card in the ebay link. Thanks for the feedback.

Our Promo cards rarely matched the color of the regular set. This would definitely be the 1989 Ventura set promo.

You should scan the back as well. Most of our cards have a real nice color bleed on the back edges.

I tried, and even though it is slightly off-white (probably due to age) my scanner said in so many words that there was nothing there to scan. Unless there's some trick I don't know, I've only had the scanner about 3 weeks or something.

Don't auto-scan cards for here. Most likely, you'll get over-cropped images that will eventually get rejected.
Change your scanner settings and scan the entire scannable area. Then rotate/straighten and crop as needed.
