I see a Salutes Green checklist listed, but this card doesn't match the card number. It seems like this may be part of an as-yet-unlisted Series 1 Green, but #86 for a series 1 insert seems pretty high to me. I want to get confirmation that's indeed what it is before I go and post a checklist that's wrong, in a sport I know nothing about. Thanks.

It's from Series 1, so a Green parallel checklist is missing.

A good thing to question Billy, but the Topps Salutes insert set is ridiculously large for ANY series release. Cory is right that it's Series 1, but I hate seeing that there are even more parallels of an insert set for me to chase now. I'm really hating all the insert parallels coming out these days. It's bad enough that I already hate the inserts themselves, but the parallels of them is just stupid!

Good catch on that one. I pulled a Blue parallel of one of those last year and almost missed that it was a parallel. Although the green on this one stands out pretty well.
Also, you should try getting into baseball. Doesn't everyone in NY like baseball? haha

What's your 4th? Are you holding out on us?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

If I'm right about this, his sports are NBA, NASCAR, Olympics and NHL.

Adam is correct. I lump Olympics into one sport for ease of discussion, ie, lazyness. LOL
I am not attempting to collect at least one card of every Olympian, though. The cycle is too short, and many of the cards are either old and rare, foreign and rare, or both old and foreign and rare.
