1993 Classic college basketball Blue Foil

Any idea what the story on these are? I don't do college cards so I don't remember where they came from, but I know I've had them since before 2014, so not much help there. Almost surely came out of a repack as 99% of my college cards have come to me that way. I've seen and got others.

Looks like a pretty cool printing error. Possibly some scrap foil fell on the sheet. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

Highly, highly unlikely- Classic did not use blue foil during this time frame, except for these cards. Compared with the other cards I have and have seen it forms a circular, bullseye style symbol.

Maybe some sort of test sheet. And they used the foil bullseye so the cards wouldn't get released? ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

And I know for a fact that there was a pretty large back door at the facility for Classic. ------------------------------- -- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 3/4/2024). You know, I'm extropilating that that middle circle is indeed a circle. Could it be a C? Were there any big shows in Chicago that year?

I bet it was a promo from that show. I have no way to check...1993 predates my learning of the National's existence by about 5 years.

Oh yeah, that looks like it. Looks like the card was part of a promo or advertising panel.
