Card Identification Forum

I Need help to find which set this Nolan Ryan card came from.

I have this card in a lot that i have purchased and i cannot find any info on this card.

Front mimics 1968 Topps. Back no copyright or other markings.  1989 stats so it looks like some 1990 unlicensed very popular at that time.

Probably the same high end collectables company that created the mock 1967 Seaver/Ryan RC in the early 1990s to capitilze on Ryan's popularity in the market.

OR it could be a card like that Mattingly RCotD the other day, where its just a random card insert from a hobby magazine. 

I think you are right as I remember seeing this so pulled out old Trading Cards Mags from 91 and sure enough others like that on sheet, Not the Ryan but same style

So i guess it is fair to say that this card has no real value?

If I was near by where you are, I would give you a $ for it.  Ryan collectors would still pick it up. But definitely not the value of the year it mimics.
