Earlier, I responded to a new user about making a suggestion to Admin and how the site has been so often upgraded. I don't know if any of you have ever played with a website called the wayback machine (web.archive.org). They actually store snapshots of web pages, not just screen caps, but real working pages from whenever. The first capture they have for this site is from January 19, 2008. There were only 6 categories under "Browse" and were baseball, basketball, football, hockey, racing, and soccer. Granted, that was over 9 years ago, but if you look, and poke around at the site over the years, you can see how it took shape. There was no Things To Do page. Take a look: LINK
And then take a moment to tell Admin how much you appreciate all the work that has gone into this site. I'll start:
Admin - Thank you. I know I've made a lot of suggestions, and I understood when some couldn't be implemented, but I never dreamed that so many of them would make their way into the site. I also didn't realize when I joined how much I would enjoy taking part in it. Thanks for creating this.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

I am very happy I found this site. I don't even know how I would continue on collecting without this site anymore.

In the half year that I've been using this site I've learned to appreciate the basic ease of tracking your collection along with making deals. In that short time I have also learned that Admin is not complacent and has made improvements, particularly for those of us who log our lists daily. That just goes to show that they are willing to listen to suggestions - and that's a great quality for any administrator.

In the couple of months I've been here I've really grown to appreciate this site and it's functionality. Great job admins, and users!

Can't be said any better!
Only thing I can add is this .....
..... that this site has actually made me a smarter collector, and it helped to keep my sanity through some REALLY rough patches last year and for that I can truely say Thank You.

I've been here since 2009 and watched the site transform into what it is today and I still haven't found a better site yet.

Funny you bring this up as I was bored a couple weeks ago and I checked out wayback. I use it quite often more for information than looking back, but since I was bored I checked out the database. It was fun to look at. At one point it looks like there was a category for Aussie Rules Football. I think I might have even able to pull it up recently but more as an easter egg than a functioning page. Its a good time waster for sure and a great way to see how much the site has progressed.
