I have several resolved IR's in the last day or so, some of which I received notification messages, some not.

Is this a technical issue or is the notification at the discretion of the resolver ?

There is a check box (which defaults to notifying the submitter) when resolving IRs.

In the past, some of us checked that off so that a member won't get inundated with email notifications. Now that the system has been updated to have them as notifications, there really is no need for that.
