So, college schedules are allowed but professional schedules featuring pro players aren't? Does it have to do with the players name appearing on the schedule?
Just want to ask if anyone knows before I list more schedules that end up getting deleted. Thx

I think the college schedules being listed are actual cards, not folded pocket schedules.

And this is going to get real sticky, real fast, as I have some Phillies schedules from the 1980s that are just dual sided (not folded) and on thin card stock, but it is card stock and not paper like most schedules. Slightly wider than 2.5"x3.5". Definitely cards. Definitely collectible. Most likely not welcome here. :) I still have more than 1,000 cards that are missing scans here, so I have plenty to add before I'd get to them anyway, but if they're going to be on here, I can contribute there too.

Here was this same discussion, in two forum threads, circa May 2015 and August 2015:

and

It all started with that women's volleyball set from the first link, which was a legit set. They made a card of each team member, stats and everything on the back, and each also had the team's schedule on the back. Addition of schedules snowballed from there, possibly waned a little after Admin apparently removed or merged some last August, and has started back up strong again recently.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I'll shoot the Admin an e-mail. It appears the issue was only discussed and never really defined.
Doesn't matter to me either way, site doesn't belong to me, just don't want to waste my time uploading something that is deleted a day or so later.

Let them be a part of the site! I can easily get beyond the site as strictly handlling pieces of cardboard.

I agree with them being on the site. If it is something that is kept with a card collection, then it should be allowed. But because they are not sets per se, I would like ot see where each team would have an entry where a schedule could be uploaded every year in the same location thereby building a "set". Just a thought to keep things organized.

All the schedule talk preceded my becoming a member. I was interested in following the old threads, and went back and followed switzr1 links.
I can see all sides in this discussion. I for one collect Starting Lineup, Bobbleheads and other figures, different Publications and other memoribilia assiciated with sports. I even have 2 Upper Deck Hockey lamps ready to list on ebay [anybody interested.] as I am downsizing both Hockey and Basketball.
The 1 common thread appears to be duplicating entries, so by us doing [kinda] nothing, it appears the problem can multiply. I do collect all types of schedules and think a category "SCHEDULES" could eliminate some issues.. College and Pro schedules alike should be part of the database as it appears many other members collect them. If we categorize Publications [certainly not the size of a trading card or made of cardboard] by all means include pocket schedules and the like. ADMIN might want to reconsider this addition by adding a Schedule category with approprite subcategories. This could also expand our member audience. Just my thoughts.

But still the publications are hobby publication. There's a coorelation there between those and trading cards. I'd like to hear from some player or team collectors. Those would be the people most affected. Now they'll have these pocket schedules listed with regular cards. If you don't collect pocket schedules that could be majorly off-putting. Now you have to become a pocket schedule collector too to try to finish your collection?
