And again today! Bug off, scammer!
-------------------------------
-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Go to your profile and click Friends. Click the blue "Manage" button. Then you can click the red button with a little person icon and a minus next to it to remove anyone you want.

DaClyde that was way more therapeutic than I thought. I went through my friends list and whacked 9 people who haven't signed in this year plus some how a guy who screwed me out of cards was on my friend list. LOL

Received another friend request from a brand new account from Tuscaloosa, AL. I don't want to be suspicious of EVERY new account from Alabama, but this is the same MO of pbsandsbs and lancasterscorner. Should we add this one to the scammer list or too soon?

I'm curious why people are accepting friend requests from brand new users, let alone suspicious ones.

I think they are fishing for people who are clicky - clicky and quick to react as a potential target. I know it sounds odd, but this is how people are targeted on social media platforms who in turn are targeted for other scams. When people accept friend requests it tells them A. this person is responsive, and B. this person just accepted a random friend request from a complete stranger, or someone who they haven't traded with before so let's put some bait out there and see if they will take it...hook line and sinker technique. Admin can block all the accounts he wants, but these clowns will just keep doing it over and over again until people stop falling for it! It's a big pond and if the fish are biting, they will keep throwing out more bait!

I was very suspicious when I saw a blank account with such a name. I had another less than stellar member in mind, but after seeing the info he added, it is probably him. Please remember that Admin has banned his other accounts in the last days... On this profile, he already set up his collection to private, put almost 190 000 cards on his want list and just 871 cards on this FT/S list. IMHO, it doesn't help him to build credibility. Not that it indicates anything, but he asks a lot with having much to offer and he doesn't want to tell us what he already have.

FYI, Ricky Lancaster’s latest identity is TooManyCards. I had a match with him recently so I proposed a trade, which he accepted. His mailing information was blank so I asked him to add it to his profile and that’s when I recognized the name. He now lists an address in Tuscaloosa Alabama. Fortunately, since he has no feedback under this name, I am requiring him to send his cards first. Let’s see what happens.
