There is currently a large scale network disruption occurring at the hosting location causing the site to be inaccessible at times or display a certificate error. It is being worked on. Will hopefully have more related info later on in the afternoon which I will post here. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The problem seems to be largely resolved at this point according to the hosting company. If you're still getting the certificate error, try clearing out your browser cache. More information on the situation will be forthcoming.

A quick update on the situation. The site's been with the same hosting company from the beginning (over 15 years now). Unfortunately, their ability to provide a stable environment has slipped recently with network outages occurring almost daily now. A few days ago, after the extended outage, the process was started to find different accommodations. Additional info will be posted in this thread once a timeline is established. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.

The setup process with the new host continues. I'll be sure to let everyone know ahead of time when the cutover will take place and if there will be any associated downtime.

The migration process has begun in the background and will continue on for a couple of weeks as approximately 33 million files get transferred over to the new host. These are strictly image and site files and does not impact any database data as that was already migrated after the outage of October 2022. I will unpin this thread in the next day or so as this process continues and re-pin once there’s news of the next phase.

After another extended outage today, we'll be looking to cut things over to the new server this week. Transferring 33 million image files to a new server and keeping them in sync has proven to be a much longer prospect than the aforementioned "couple of weeks". It's looking like it might be better to cut things over to the new server and tweak things afterwards rather than wait for everything to be perfect and risk further extended outages. I'll post here again once there is confirmation on an exact date and time and what to expect.

At this time, the plan is to go live with the new server on Tuesday, July 18 at 8AM CT / 9AM ET. Prior to that, the ability to add or edit images will be put into a maintenance mode to prevent any further changes to the old server. This should only impact any areas dealing with image additions, edits, or transfers (like adding new card images, packaging, sell sheets, publications, Inaccuracies Manager, etc.). After the new server goes live, for many, the change will be immediate, but in some cases, it may take your Internet service provider up to 24 hours to pick up that the server has changed.

Areas of the site dealing with the addition and editing of images will be going into maintenance mode starting tonight at 8PM CT / 9PM ET. These areas will be brought back online once the migration to the new server is complete.

The migration has been delayed this morning. Still awaiting confirmation if we’ll be moving forward later today or rescheduling to another date. The image areas will remain in maintenance mode until then in order to be ready to go once everything is in place.
