I was truly humbled & grateful & flabbergasted  to see that I was recognized and given an award for this site for adding the most checklists for the sport of tennis last year since I didn’t know I was even nominated nor that awards were given for such a recognition.  Makes me feel like I’m valued so thank you very much for the award.  But I’m even more flabbergasted that the points on my account have stayed the same all of last year which makes no sense since I’ve been told adding checklists does count towards your point total on this site.  Just hoping I can keep learning and going up in access so I can contribute more.
So if anyone has any insights as to whether points are awarded weekly, monthly, yearly so I can better understand the system or somehow have the system list a breakdown of the points you earn for each task so you know the work you do gets the proper amount due. I finally got my scanner back up and at ‘em so I’ll earn my ponts in the time being.  Thanks everyone for helping me along the way to 10,000 ponts.

I don't know if it is a permissions level thing or not, but as far as I can tell, my points are added almost immediately after I add a checklist.

Some of the awards are given just based on statistics.  You entered the most Tennis checklists in 2022.  I bet it didn't even seem like you added a lot.  I got the nod in 2015 for Tennis and Multi-Sport, and I swear I didn't add more than 5 or 6 sets.  It's kind of a gimme in some of the less visited categories.  If you find a particularly neglected area, you can rack up several "most added" awards without trying all that hard.  I got most Racing images added one year just because I added my Robert Pressley collection.  Just wasn't much traffic in Racing here back then.

As DaClyde says, most points are added instantly (new images, set added, checklist added, links, etc.). However, some other things (replacement scans, edits, not sure if there's anything else) are added to your total near the beginning of every month.

Also, you only get points for actually uploading the checklist. If you submit an IR for someone else to do so, you don't get the points. (Not sure how you did it, but that could be the answer).

Also, I don't think you get points when using the "Copy from existing checklist" option (or whatever it is called) when adding a parallel.  I mean, you can just manually upload the parallels separately, and get the points, but if there are 5 parallels for a base set, and the only difference is a serial number, it is a lot faster to use the copy checklist option.
