Wondering what the general consensus is on this. Is there a point uploading the same card but in different colors, and back of cards as well. If there is an image already and they all look the same does the site need multiple images of the same thing. Apologize if this a topic discussed already, I don’t mind scanning cards to upload but also don’t want to create unnecessary extra photos.

It would be great if every card with a listing could have front and back images available.

Please review the scan guidelines for the site before uploading more images.
These images really should not be on the site.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

The way I read it, the question is about card backs of colored parallels. Can you upload the same exact image repeatedly for the backs of different parallels, or should you scan the backs of each individual parallel even though the backs look the same?
If that's the question, my feeling is the backs should be scanned individually, whether or not they appear the same. I see it all the time where someone scans the back of a card and duplicates that exact scan for every other parallel. Not a mortal sin, but still no proper.

Even if its not allowed, that certainly hasn't stopped people from doing it.

On the scan topic - can I scan a relic card with a different swatch design/color without over-scanning the current scan? I'm not looking to hijack anyone's photo, but I would like the scan to reflect what's in my collection instead of someone else's.

And not doing a very good job of it. For example, parallel Prizm cards from Panini state "Prizm" on the back of the card. However, you will see people upload the base back to all the parallels.

If I remember correctly if you add the card into your collection you can go into edit details and upload a different scan than the one that is displayed on the site. I think that's it.
