For those without social media you can check whether the site is up for yourself:

Well, that could help, but counterpoint. This is free site. Larger server access, increased bandwidth, whatever may be needed is not. The money has to come from somewhere. Imagine if the Premium account became the standard monthly fee for ALL users. I was thinking of this during the earlier outage; this is a free site. With that, there are going to be times when the going is rough so frustrating as it may be, no need to get all in a huff. And besides, if the site is being hosted by a 3rd party service and they have an outage nothing Admin can do, but using alternating sites as pointed out. Not like he can post something here during down time. And that can be at anytime like Sat or Sun. And is should be noted that Admin has been pretty good about posting about downtimes when expected maintenance activity is going to occur.
TL;DR: Free site, roll with it.

Agree, plus I just googled something like "TCDB outage" and the Twitter post was the first thing displayed. No social media needed.

Actually since 3:15 this morning with the same issue, but it's a free site for me and it's usually running fine.

Due to the influx in activity on the website, ADMIN did move us to a different host server that was supposed to be bigger. I can speak from personal experience if you have an issue with anything on the website you can message ADMIN and he will respond when he can. Have you reached out to ADMIN and discussed your displeasure with HIS website?

Before the initial post in January, I did, no response. I would think since HE owns HIS website, HE would take a moment or two and peruse HIS website. I'm sure HE gets reports from where ever the server company is, and knows what's happening. Maybe He doesn't think the few minutes down is a big deal and most times it probably isn't. Its the times you've loaded a page of cards, you hit the go button and "Service Unavailable" pops up. More than a few minutes wasted, don't know if the cards loaded and you're afraid to load again. Just aggravating, doing duplicate work, always seems to happen at the wrong time, and seems to be happening more. Several hours this morning again.
I've seen others mention more people on the site, and I'm all for that. Others have said that HE doesn't delete dead accounts to free up server space, which I don't understand. That could speed things up and help the trading community as well. I checked matches on a card the other day and one member hadn't been on since 2015. Why not remove the account.

Hey BigEd76,
Seeing a few post from you, I gather you're a tech guy. I was wondering a couple of things: Does anyone know why dead accounts aren't remove and wouldn't that free up a lot if space? Some folks say the outages are rare and minimal, but the other morning it was off and on for several hours-are the outages being tracked or does Admin get a real-time notice? The outages seem longer and more frequent since the Sportlots collaboration. Also, how bad is it affecting you guys that do the work in the background? Seems to always happen to me when adding cards, adjusting inventories, and putting proposals together. You may not know and that's ok, just thought I'd ask
