I'm still having the usual issues. I think the answer to your original question is "no".

I don't know what issues you guys are seeing but I have absolutely no problems on this site about 95% of the time I'm on the site. I almost never get a "Service Unavailable" note. At worst, I get a "site timed out" note. I just click the back arrow and then try again. Usually works that time. If not, I wait a few minutes and do it again.

I'm adding cards & they are all ending up in the wrong section (adding to Base set & there are being cataloging in a subset page) ...oh man... https://imgur.com/XA162Pv

This is very much my experience too, on a variety of devices (phone and multiple different laptops).
Just like Spaz said - on occasion, I'll get timed out, but the back button and/or refresh on my browser fixes that on the first try nearly every time. This is nothing different than what used to happen - I notice it when making a lot of edits at one time, which has always caused the site to slow down at times for me.
Even adding cards, it runs a touch slower than normal when I'm working on a set like 1990 Pro Set football, where I have entirely too many listed, but other than that, no issues. I have actually asked a few other members what their experiences have been while talking about other things, and they claim to have the same experiences I am having.
-------------------------------
Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Something I have noticed recently is that when viewing my collection gallery on my phone, it starts draining my battery quite quickly. This site never used to do that before. I do have an older phone and I have noticed there are certain sites that this will happen with. I don't have a Twitter account but sometimes I will get linked to Twitter from articles and I have noticed that site does it too for example. It is probably a lot of background things going on that take a lot of battery resources. But it was only around the time all the changes with the site happened with the new server and the Sportslots deal where this started occurring. I don't know what the numbers are, but it is pretty clear to me that over the last couple years there seems to be a large increase in membership which is likely the reason a new server, more ads etc were needed. This is just my educated guess. And while I still find this site integral to the hobby for me, a lot of the changes have made the experience on here more difficult and I unfortunately have started spending less time here than I used to.

I'm gonna have to agree with all the gripers. I've been a member for 8½ years. In those 8½ years I've never experienced so many "site down" occurrences, so much slowness, nor so many ads, as I have since the last "update". And it's even worse on my phone.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

This is not to say that the site is perfect. There are still plenty of problem areas being addressed and fine-tuning taking place to deal with the high volume of traffic, but if you are consistently experiencing slow load times, higher than the average above, then the problem might be on your end.
There was a member recently with slow loading pages and he switched web browsers, and all his problems went away.
If you’re experiencing slow load times, please reply with the following, perhaps we can find a pattern:
- Which web browser are you using?
- How many years old is the computer / device you’re on?
- What is the result of this internet speed test? https://www.speedtest.net/
- How many items do you have loaded into your collection (including wantlist and for sale / trade lists)?
- How many rows per page do you have set as your default (50, 100, 250, 500, 1000)?
- Are you experiencing this problem all day or just during certain times?

well, nobody comes on here to complain or listen to complaints, i'm sure,
but, as a newbie, I'm just stating what is happening to me on here,
& having people argue about what is happening makes no sense to me?
