I know these can be deleted, but I was curious how they usually get added in the first place. Anybody?
Thanks

They are most likely from misspelled cards that later got fixed and added to the correct PID.

Happens frequently. Same player with multiple PIDs (different names/spellings). Once all cards are moved to a single PID the remaining empty PIDs need to be deleted by Admin.
Members need to be more thorough in searching PIDs before creating a new one.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Level 3 permission allows a member to delete empty PID's. I use it when I find two names that need to be merged.

The "Delete Name" option shows up in the area where the player's info (college, etc.) would show up. However, if you remove cards from the name first (like if it was a double listing and you put them all into one place) you typically have to wait a few minutes before the "Delete Name" option appears. If the name was already sitting empty, the delete option should be there the first time you click on the name.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Thanks David, I'll peek aroud this weekend, prolly Sunday since its my "free" day LOL ...... will be a tough one this year but there are alot of others who have dealt with what I am here. But the good news is this, I am back home in my CAVE!! Oh how I missed my cave and all that comes with it, like my boy and my wifey!!!! =D Gonna be a summer of change and stuff but god how I missed the confines of my own home. Not sure if I will take another job so far from home!! Did sneak in one hockey card shop while in Saskatoon, a very nice looking shop in one of the malls there. Got my OPC Hall and Eberle R/C cards I needed for my set as well as a hobby of 13-14 Select. No big pulls but some not back Winipeg Jets cards. Anyways long story short, I am glad to be home.

Welcome back, or atleast back now, Congrats on getting the cards you needed. Heck if you would post a wantlist someone here might be able to help you out.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.
