Is there an easy way to see what cards have been added to a specific player from most recent to oldest?

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I believe they mean cards recently added to the players checklist e.g. a few sets from 1992-93, 2021, and 2022 have been added to my pc players checklist in the last couple of weeks.
I don't see an option to sort by recently added sets, just by year and alphabetical
The only way I can do it is categorise all cards in the players checklist. All the cards that I'm not chasing because they are too rare or expensive to my in transit list.
Then when I go to the players page and click on collection summary and then select don't have, it only shows my want list cards highlighted in red and newly added sets/cards with no shading.
I wish there was a don't want category so I could use in transit for the cards that are in the mail

Currently not possible. However, there is a New Feature Request in for this type of functionality.

This new feature request also would help: New Feature Tracker | Trading Card Database (tcdb.com) This request is tied to several other requests.
It is 3 years old and working it's way up the chain. The problem appears to have been caused by another fix/update.

I'm curious if the database tracks the date a card was added. Seems it would be feasible to be able to sort the players' lists by date added, but then I just realized we don't actually have ANY sort options currently.
I just noticed there is a History feature on a player's Collection Summary page, but I think that only pertains to MY history of interacting with cards in my collection for that player.

I'm assuming most of the database tables have some sort of datestamp or Unix timestamp field but they're only visible on certain pages like front/back images, packaging, change log, forum posts, etc.

I'm collecting Todd Helton, so with over 8000 cards, it's not easy to figure out what cards have been added. I do occasionally look for cards that aren't blue, green, pink, etc., but it's pretty tedious. Thanks for all the posts.

When I know I will be checking regularly to see if new cards for a player or team have been added for whatever reason or another, one thing I will do is set up a table in Excel (or Sheets, or whatever application you want).
Add each year the player has cards issued, as well as the number of cards currently listed for each year. Then, when you want to check to see if any new ones have been added, you can just go to each year and check the number at the top of the screen to see if it's changed. If it's gone up, then cards have been added.
Not super efficient, but quicker than scrolling through line by line.

Nec Aspera Terrent I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.
