No problem, and no worries about an argument. Right now those are Admin's rules, and you never know if they might change. They already did in one way as we used to be able to completely reject photos, but now they instead get uploaded but automatically tagged for removal.
I personally wouldn't have any issue with photos being entirely allowed in the future if there was some way for technology to eliminate their drawbacks vs. scans: they almost always appear disproportioned/at an angle, the colors/foil patterns end up uneven, and they're prone to reflections of the device and/or person taking the photo. Scanners guarantee you a flat, properly proportioned image that can be cropped/rotated with just a few clicks.
Also, while I'm here, here's another reminder to anyone looking at this thread that not only should you not upload photos, but please don't send in images of cards on a stand, and remove them from toploaders and sleeves so the images don't look worse than they should be or appear altered.
